Cross River State Councillors Clarify: “Our December 3rd Meeting Is NOT a Protest”

In response to circulating rumors across social media, the Cross River State Councillor’s Forum has issued an important clarification regarding their upcoming general meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 3rd, in Ikom. According to the Forum, claims that the gathering is a protest or an attempt to challenge the State Government are entirely false. Instead, councillors describe the meeting as a long-awaited assembly centered on unity, welfare, and constructive dialogue. UNICEF begins training of AD-HOC VOLUNTEERS on child birth enrollment in Ogoja.

By Stephen Egar Ayim     United Nations International Children Emergency Fund, UNICEF, has commenced a three- day training of AD-HOC VOLUNTEERS on Electronic Civil Vital Registration Statistics( ECVRS) for children between age zero to five years in Nigeria.     The training which was in Collaboration with the National Population Commission, NPC, held contemporaneously at the three senatorial District in Cross River State.
